Cloudie Flickr

I’ve used CloudApp on my mac for a while now, and I absolutely love it.

I’ve also been using the brilliant GDZLLA to post my photos directly from my phone to Flickr.

Then recently, amazing internet people have been bringing CloudApp’s services to Tweetie 2 for the iPhone.

So I thought, wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a ‘Tweetie to Flickr’ service with CloudApp’s lovely short URLs.

So I combined the current versions of: Flickr/Tweetie Bridge by Chris Morrell and Cloudie by Matthias Plappert to do just that!

Instructions

Download ‘Cloudie Flickr’ here and follow Chris Morrell’s instructions. Once the files are up and running on your server, just pop the below link into Tweetie 2’s custom image service settings and fill it with your CloudApp details.

How I Work

Hubble Desktop

Just thought I would share my work desktop and some software I use everyday (Click to zoom). You can get the wallpaper here.

Dock

I have my dock hidden, and just keep the things on there that open at login or that I regularly drag files into. For anything else I need to open, Spotlight is there.

In the dock I use Tweetie for Twitter, Skype for IM, TextWrangler for any text files and Transmit for FTP.

Menubar

In the menubar I use Cloud to share screenshots/files with people and Notify for Gmails. Dropbox is there too, but it’s hidden.

iPhone Home

Finally, here is my iPhone homescreen, with all the apps I use every day. Everything else is ordered on subsequent pages.

Ages

It has indeed been another year since I last posted, sad times. Therefore here is a quick update!

Me and Claire upped sticks from Newcastle and drove down to London with all our worldly possessions. We didn’t have work to go to so we set about looking for jobs. After graduation I had organised lots of interviews and proceeded to attend them, and one company decided to give me a chance!

Feed are a creative design company based in the beautiful Clerkenwell and after working here for nearly seven months now I’m absolutely loving it. My work entails everything that I enjoyed doing in my spare time and thus this job is perfect. All the people who I work with are great people and good mates; two who have sites are Danny Sturgess and Andy Forshaw (super ace famous illustrators in my eyes, if they don’t mind me saying).

I’ve already been heavily involved with large scale eBay briefs, MSN Homepage takeovers for feature films such as ‘The Boat that Rocked’ and brands such as Chanel. Mostly i’ve been doing video, animation and 3D work. The most notable being the eBay Christmas campaign for which I made the presents in Maya.

We live at the top of Shepherdess Walk, next to Regent’s Canal in London, right bang in the middle between Old Street and Angel in Islington. Only a ten minute, lovely bike ride to work in the morning.

Now seen as though I probably won’t update this again for another year you can follow me on Twitter which I update at least everyday and see my ongoing work on my Vimeo too.
